Recruiting: Bereuter Wants To Be At OSU

"I had a blast," said Irving MacArthur (Texas) linebacker Jeff Bereuter. "I love the atmosphere, and that game shows Oklahoma State is improving each week and that they can play with the bigger schools in the Big 12. They just got worn down there at the end, but they have some areas where they don't have as much depth."

Bereuter is a key linebacker commitment for the Cowboys and is having a strong season in helping Irving MacArthur to a 9-0 season thus far. The 6-2, 210-pounder has excellent speed and recognized that one of those depth troubled positions Saturday night was linebacker. Bereuter and teammate Justin Gent, also a linebacker committed to Oklahoma State, will go for an unbeaten season and outright district championship on Thursday when the MacArthur Cardinals host Euless Trinity.

"Being there last night just confirmed my commitment that much more," said Bereuter. "I want to be at Oklahoma State and in Stillwater."

Bereuter did say that like Gent, his MacArthur linebacker teammate and fellow commitment, that he was thinking of taking some other visits.

"I just wanted to take all five of my visits, but now I just want to go on a couple to see some places that I haven't traveled to, just take the visits for the experience," Bereuter said. "I know I am going to Oklahoma State and I know I want to be in Stillwater."
