"That was quite an effort by the guys on Saturday night," said Goodson's father, Michael Sr. "They really played well."
So did his son the night before as Goodson ran for 143 yards in Collins next to last game of the season.
"He's been playing good," said the elder Goodson. "That offensive formation is not real good for him, but he is doing what he can and he's getting ready for their last game this Friday with Lufkin, and then he'll get ready for the U.S. Army All-American Game and any of those other all-star games he plays in."
Goodson's schedule is still the same as his father reported he is going to graduate at mid-term and enroll this spring at OSU.
"He needs to get in the program and learn the offense so he has it down for spring football and can be ready to compete," added Mr. Goodson.
He also said that Michael is scheduled to take an official visit to Oklahoma State later in December and would take any other official visits prior to that. Goodson may still visit USC and Texas A&M, the two other schools he considered before making his verbal commitment to Oklahoma State this summer.
