Recruiting: Williams Says OSU Is Still Tops

Houston Madison linebacker Donnell Williams said he had a good visit to Missouri this weekend, but when asked if the Tigers had pulled even with the Cowboys in recruiting the early OSU commitment said Oklahoma State was still on top.

"It was a pretty good visit," Williams said of his trip last weekend to Columbia. "I was real impressed with the facilities. They have a bunch of new stuff they are building. I was also impressed with the coaching staff. Coach Hill (assistant Andy Hill) is recruiting me and I liked Coach Pinkel. Missouri is good, but I'm still committed to OSU and I'm visiting there this weekend."

Williams is a 6-2 1/2, 210-pounder that has 4.55 speed and is built for the outside linebacker postition at the college level. He will no doubt be earning postseason honors as they begin to be passed out in the Houston area. As for recruiting, Williams will see visitors this week.

"Both schools are coming in to visit me this week," said Williams.

When asked about any other schools and making any other visits, Williams was very clear.

"That's it," said Williams.
