Recruiting: Oglesby To Decide In Dead Period

Arlington (Texas) Grace Prep defensive end Wesley Oglesby was out at a movie with his dad Sunday night, a little relaxation before finals week begins at Grace Prep this week. Oglesby and his Grace Prep teammates won a TAPPS state championship in football a couple of weeks back and the 6-6, 230-pounder is now coming down to decision time. His most recent visit was to Duke, but his mother told us Sunday night that he is still considering several schools including Oklahoma State.

"Coach (Mike) Gundy, Coach (Curtis) Luper, and Coach (Vance) Bedford have all been in here, and we really appreciate the effort they have made to educate us on Oklahoma State," she said. "They are definitely in the mix and one of the schools that Wesley is considering. I think I ought to let him tell you any schools that he has eliminated, but OSU is not one of them."

Mrs. Oglesby went on to say that Wesley is going to get through finals week and then get into the dead period and start processing and evaluating everything before making a decision.

"We will be leaving to visit family before Christmas, and he could have a decision before we leave," she added.

Oglesby has visited Baylor and Duke and had Arizona under consideration.
