Recruiting: McKinney Moves Visit To Jan. 13

With final exams concluded on Friday and students heading home the Oklahoma State campus will be very quiet for the start of the holiday break. Putnam City North offensive line prospect Myron McKinney had changed his visit date to Stillwater for this weekend so that his mother would be able to attend with him. Now McKinney and his mother have agreed with OSU to push the visit back to Jan. 13.

"They told me that with fianl exams over that there wouldn't be that many people around," said McKinney. "We agreed to push it back so that it would be more fun and I could get a better idea of what the campus is life during the school year."

McKinney is trying to decide between Arkansas, where he verbally committed earlier in the fall, and Oklahoma State. The 6-4, 300-pounder is one of the top offensive line prospects in Oklahoma and the Southwest. McKinney added that he had no other visits scheduled other than the upcoming trip to OSU, so we told him Happy Holidays and that we would check in with him after the New Year and he makes his final visit.
