Recruiting: JUCO Cornerback Considers Options

Junior college All-American cornerback Scott Broughton said he is staying in shape playing basketball and working out over the Christmas break. But he also says people at home are finding out that he's being recruited again.

"I'm going to really cut this short in January because everybody at home is finding out that I'm going through recruiting again," said the standout from Georgia Military J.C. "They are telling me where I should go and asking me what I am thinking. I talked to my parents and they really don't want me to go to Oklahoma State because it is so far away, but my mom said she just wants me in school and doesn't care where I go as long as I get my degree."

Broughton, who had eight interceptions this season, said he is considering Oklahoma State, West Virginia, Memphis (just called this week), and will visit East Carolina on Jan. 6.

"It will be my decision," he said. "I will make my own decision."
