"I know pretty much what I am going to do right now, but I really want to take this visit to East Carolina," Broughton said. "I have a couple of my teammates from Georgia Military there and the East Carolina coaches have been good about recruiting me and have shown they want me."
Broughton, who has previously visited Baylor and Oklahoma State, said he knows the Cowboys want him.
"They have been calling a lot and have really showed me how I could make an immediate impact on their team," said Broughton. "That is important because I only have two years to play and I want to go somewhere that I can get on the field right away."
The 6-1, 185-pound corner has great size for the position and showed the nation he can cover as he had 10 interceptions with two touchdowns. He also had two blocked field goals in earning J.C. All-American honors at Georgia Military this past season.
Previously, he had said there was pressure from friends and family to stay closer to his home of Milledgeville, Ga., but Broughton has said the decision will be his and his alone.
