Recruiting: Cowboys' Mr. X-Mas Can't Wait

Recruiting fans will remember Terrance Anderson of Aldine, Texas. Oklahoma State fans never forget a recruit that chooses the Cowboys over the Sooners, and Anderson was all set to play Santa Claus by announcing his decision on Christmas Day. He beat it to the punch by almost a week when he announced that he was going to be a Cowboy. It did make Christmas Day a little more relaxing.

"Yes it did, a lot more relaxing," Anderson said of pushing up his decision. "It was a whole lot better that way."

Anderson said it was his official visit that made all the difference as he only took two visits -- one to Stillwater and one to Norman.

"I just loved the whole environment on the visit," explained the speedy athlete. "I was very comfortable from the time I got there until I left. The players and the coaches were so easy to be around and to talk to. I only made two visits and I was much more comfortable at Oklahoma State."

He said it is fine with him that Oklahoma State recruited him as an athlete. He sees himself playing either wide receiver or cornerback and helping with punt returns.

"I like that they recruited me as a complete athlete and it was the wide receivers coach (Gunter Brewer) that mainly recruited me and so I think I may be heading to receiver first," added Anderson.
