"I'm going to have a private function on Thursday," Chinasa said when asked if he was still planning to announce his college choice on Tuesday. "I've moved it from Tuesday to Thursday. It will just be a little deal where I can tell my coach and some friends."
Chinasa said it wouldn't be a press conference or a school assembly, just a little private time at school to tell his coach and friends. He informed us to call his coach's office on Thursday afternoon.
Chinasa is one of the top prospects out there that has yet to make a commitment. A season that included 96 unassisted tackles, 11 sacks, 6 fumbles caused, 2 fumbles recovered, and an interception returned for a touchdown has caused a number of schools to pursue the 6-6, 235-pounder. His list is now down to Oklahoma State, Alabama and Baylor.
As for the Baylor trip, Chinasa said it "went good."
"I liked the coaches and stuff," was about his only comment.
Thursday will be the day and Cowboys, Tide and Bears fans will be waiting anxiously for this difference maker's decision.
