Cowboy Football Player OK After Collapsing

STILLWATER - The Daily O'Collegian student newspaper reported in its Thursday edition that an unidentified Oklahoma State football player collapsed during the team's offseason conditioning workout and was transported to Stillwater Medical Center. Freshman cornerback Calvin Mickens did collapse from dehydration problems during the workout on the playing surface of Boone Pickens Stadium.

According to witnesses Mickens had not had anything to eat or drink during a day of classes and as a result collapsed during the rigorous workout. He was released and is fine physically and will resume offseason workouts in the near future.
