Recruiting: Wynn Looking At Cowboys, Others

Oklahoma State is going to be needing help on the defensive line, primarily at defensive tackle, after this season. The Cowboys have been known to take big defensive ends (Ryan McBean) and move them inside. Jarius Wynn out of Georgia Military College could be a possiblity there. The 6-4, 265-pound Wynn, originally out of Lincoln County High School in Lincolnton, Ga., runs a 4.8 in the 40-yard dash and could wind up being big enough to play tackle and is athletic enough to stay at end.

"I'm hearing from South Carolina, Oklahoma State, Auburn and a big crowd of others," Wynn said when asked about his recruitment. "I'm really open right now and I want to look around."

Wynn is taking summer school at Georgia Military and will graduate in December, making him even more valuable because he can come in for spring football.

"I'm going in to get my work done and I want to play," Wynn said of his future destination. "I want to start."

Wynn said he thinks Georgia Military is sitting on a junior college national championship season. He also said it will help schools that have former Georgia Military players on their squad in recruiting him. Oklahoma State has Larry Brown at defensive tackle and Scott Broughton is coming in this next season from GMC.
