Hoops: Page To Play In State AAU Tourney

Oklahoma State basketball fans living in the Tulsa area can take advantage of the opportunity to watch the Cowboys' latest commitment live this weekend during the AAU 17-and-under state tournament. Keiton Page, the 5-foot-10 junior-to-be guard out of Pawnee (Okla.) High School, will be playing for the PWP (Playing With Purpose) team based out of Tulsa.

Page, who verbally committed to the Cowboys two weeks ago, is a member of the PWP team coached by former NBA player Lee Mayberry and former University of Tulsa standout Rod Thompson.

Page was the state's second-leading scorer a year ago (29.7 points per game) as a sophomore. He also averaged 5.5 assists, 4.7 steals and 3.2 rebounds for the Pawnee Black Bears.

PWP's schedule this weekend is as follows:
Friday, 6 p.m., vs. Blue Chips, at Edison High School, 2800 E. 41st St.
Saturday, 9 a.m., vs. vs. Oklahoma City Hoyas, at East Central High School, 12150 E. 11th St.
Saturday, 1:30 p.m., vs. Southern Storm, at Edison High School
Saturday, 4:30 p.m., vs. Oklahoma Rams, at Edison High School

The semifinals and finals are scheduled for Sunday, and will be announced after bracket play is completed Saturday.
