Recruiting: Millwood Trio To Camp At OSU?

Gerald Jones, Tramaine Swindall and Gil Roberts of Millwood High School in Oklahoma City are expected to attend a portion of the Oklahoma State three-day individual camp Friday. The three will be on campus and attend the afternoon practice session, according to a source on the Millwood football staff.

Jones, a quarterback who Oklahoma State is recruiting as a running back, is one of the top prospects in the nation. Jones rushed for 1,967 yards and 18 touchdowns last season, while also passing for 887 yards and 10 touchdowns. The 6-0, 195-pounder is rock solid and is being offered by the likes of Notre Dame, Florida, Michigan, Texas Tech, Nebraska, Kansas State, Arkansas, and Missouri - along with Oklahoma State.

Swindall is a gifted wide receiver who has already verbally committed to Texas Tech, but that hasn't stopped him from looking. The 6-3, 190-pounder runs a 4.6 in the 40-yard dash.

Roberts has a lot of upside potential as he has only been playing football a couple of years and missed much of last season due to an injury. He is a world class track performer who just last week lost in the 400 meters to the nation's top runner in his age group. The winner had a times of 47.1 seconds, while Roberts finished second in 47.2 seconds. Roberts is 6-3, 180 and runs a 4.3 40-yard dash.

The trio also will make the rounds this weekend to the University of Tulsa and the University of Arkansas.
