The 6-4, 285-pound (updated measurements) Green has a boatload of college offers including Oklahoma State, Baylor, Ole Miss, TCU, LSU, Missouri, Iowa State, Notre Dame, Colorado State, Houston, North Carolina, Texas Tech and Nebraska.
"Right now my top three are Baylor, Oklahoma State and LSU," said the Corsicana product. "I'm planning on going to Baylor on the 24th (June) and check out the campus and coaching staff. It's closer and I want to play right away. The Baylor coach told me he is losing five senior offensive linemen and I could start as a true freshman. That is a real possibility."
Green added that he is contemplating making an early commitment, and in fact, told us that we should check back with him the third week of July, hinting that might be around the time he will have some news.
Green is strong with a 330-pound bench press max and a 595-pound squat. He has also clocked a 4.9 as his best time in the 40-yarddash. He's big enough to handle the inside and quick enough to pick up pass rushers at tackle. He also plays basketball and throws the shot and discus for the track team.
It would appear Baylor has a solid edge in Green's recruitment, but with a list that long make no mistake there will be plenty of activity with Green even during the quiet phase of recruiting in the summer.
