Football Freshmen Have Reported

While the returning varsity players, the incoming freshmen who enrolled for the spring semester and are already on campus, and the freshmen offensive linemen are taking a break for the July 4th holiday – and the break between the summer school sessions – the remainder of the incoming Oklahoma State freshmen have reported to Stillwater.

The bulk of what was considered a top 20 recruiting class – and one of the top three classes in the Big 12 last recruiting season – is going through a Rob Glass-orientation period in getting ready for the final month of workouts before the start of preseason camp on August 2.

The freshmen have been on campus since Friday and are going through some testing and workouts before they will commence with a workout regime that is designed to get them ready for preseason camp. The freshmen will work out separately for strength and conditioning purposes, but will join in and participate with the varsity in the four metabolic workouts (football drills and plays) that will be conducted each week in July.

The freshmen that have reported include the following:
Terrance Anderson, CB, Aldine, Texas
Derek Burton, DL, Muskogee, Okla.
Ugo Chinasa, DE, Richardson (Berkner), Texas
Perrish Cox, CB, Waco (University), Texas
Deron Fontenot, DB, Grand Prairie (SGP), Texas
Justin Gent, LB, Irving (MacArthur), Texas
Shane Jarka, DE, Fort Bend (Austin), Texas
Patrick Lavine, OLB, Houston (Jersey Village), Texas
Orie Lemon, QB/Ath., Houston (Yates), Texas
Myron McKinney, OL, OKC (Putnam City North), Okla.
Quencey Patrick, DT, Columbus (Pacelli Catholic), Ga.
Al'Darius Thompson, WR, Mesquite (North), Texas
Keith Toston, RB/Ath., Angleton, Texas
Artrell Woods, WR, Bryan, Texas

The remaining members of the class were either enrolled in the spring semester or reported for the first session of summer school in June.
