Opeseyitan Still Hoping To Visit OSU

Running back Charles Opeseyitan of Allen, Texas, is still hoping to get to Stillwater and see the Oklahoma State campus soon. He had hoped to do it last weekend, but he wasn't able to hook up with Oklahoma State coaches and schedule a time to meet with them.

"I didn't get up there because I couldn't find a time where I could meet with the coaching staff," said the 5-10, 190-pound running back. "I went to the Tulsa camp instead. That's a real good academic school and it was fun. I met a lot of people. I'm still hoping to get up to OSU for a practice."

A speedy back with strength, Opeseyitan will be busy himself with practice starting on Aug. 7 at Allen. Last season he rushed for 1,113 yards on 145 carries and scored 12 touchdowns. He also caught a touchdown pass and had 163 yards receiving out of the backfield.

"Right now I'm most interested in SMU, TCU, Tulsa, Colorado State and Iowa State," said Opeseyitan. "Of course, OSU is one of the tops and I have to get up there to check it out."

We'll keep up with it and look out for Opeseyitan.
