Richetti Jones Countdown Is On

Standout Richetti Jones of Dallas (Lincoln), Texas, said that he will make his college choice known on Sunday, Aug. 20. The 6-4, 240-pound defensive end that is one of the top prospects (4th) in Texas, the 27th-ranked prospect in the nation, and the 5th-ranked prospect in the Southwest according to Scout.

Jones said he will make the announcement on television (Fox Sports Southwest) and also release it to The Dallas Morning News and

Jones said he is deciding between Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and Texas.

Jones has made six unofficial visits to Stillwater and has several friends in school at Oklahoma State, including basketball point guard Byron Eaton and freshman football player Al'Darius Thompson. Jones has also visited Oklahoma and Texas on unofficial visits.

Back in his sophomore season Jones helped Lincoln to the Class 4A state championship game with 75 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, and an incredible 25 sacks. Last season he had 73 tackles, 25 tackles for loss and 16 sacks.

Jones is a complete player at defensive end, who has been compared to NFL standouts like Jevon Kearse and Dwight Freeney.
