"I usually throw up before a game, but this was different," said the talented Joiner. "I was feeling sick on the field."
Shoemaker dropped a decision on Friday and will try to bounce back this week against Cedar Hill.
On the recruiting front Joiner says he is in the middle of working on setting visits. He has confirmed that he will be taking an official visit to Oklahoma State where he is being recruited by Cowboy assistant Doug Meacham. The date has not been set. He said he is also strongly considering Texas A&M and Nebraska.
"Those are my top three right now," said Joiner.
He has not been to any college games on unofficial visits, but said he has watched some of the college action on television when he gets the chance.
Joiner is a real prize with excellent speed and he plays very hard. His frame will allow him to play at roughly 245 to 255 pounds in college.
