Future Cowboys In Week 12

Each week throughout the season GoPokes.com is tracking the progress of the 12 high school football players who have verbally committed to sign with Oklahoma State next February. Here are the results from the 12th week of the high school season.

McKinney (Texas) North
McKinney North had its chance to knock off No. 2 Highland Park and end its 25-game winning streak but couldn't hold on and lost 35-31 in a Class 4A first-round playoff game Friday night. McKinney North finishes 8-3.

Celina (Texas) High
Celina won its 13th consecutive playoff opener with a 35-7 win over Quinlan Ford and the No. 1-ranked Class 3A Bobcats advance to the area round of the playoffs. Next: Friday, Nov. 24, vs. Madison in the Class 3A-Division II playoffs.

JOSH COOPER, WR-K (6-1, 170)
Mustang (Okla.) High
Cooper caught six passes for 74 yards but it wasn't enough as Enid rolled to a 55-7 victory over Mustang in the Class 6A quarterfinals. Cooper finishes his senior season with 81 receptions for 1,324 yards and 15 touchdowns as Mustang finishes 10-2.

DAMIAN DAVIS, WR (6-5, 190)
Mart (Texas) High
Davis was Mr. Do Everything for the No. 1-ranked Mart Panthers as he caught six passes for 145 yards and three touchdowns (40, 23 and 23 yards), returned two punts for 54 yards and intercepted a pass in a 49-14 victory over Hamilton in the opening round of the Class 2A-Division II playoffs. Next: Friday, Nov. 24, vs. East Chambers, at Huntsville.

GRANT GARNER, OL (6-3, 265)
North Mesquite (Texas)
Garner, who committed to the Cowboys this past week, and his Stallion teammates saw their season come to an end with a 38-24 loss to Tyler John Tyler in the final regular season game of the season a week ago. North Mesquite finished 5-5.

Schertz (Texas) Clemens
Clemens improved to 10-1 with a 37-24 victory over Burnett in a Class 4A-Division II opening round playoff game Saturday night. Next: Friday, Nov. 24, vs. Lanier (7-3) in Class 4A-Division II playoffs.

AHMAD JONES, OL/DT (6-3, 310)
Silsbee (Texas) High
Silsbee defeated Splendora 27-25 in a Class 3A-Division I playoff opener, and now advances to the area round. Next: Friday, Nov. 24, vs. Conroe-Moorhead in Class 3A-Division I area playoffs.

Dallas (Texas) Lincoln
Lincoln, 8-3, defeated Seagoville 32-7 in a Class 4A-Division II bi-district game to advance. Next: Friday, Nov. 24, vs. Brownwood, in Class 4A-Division II area playoff game at Saginaw.

ISAAC MADISON, CB (5-10, 175)
Dallas (Texas) Carter
Carter, 9-2, rallied for a 32-21 victory over Tyler John Tyler in a Class 5A-Division II bi-district playoff game Saturday in Waco. Next: vs. Richardson Berkner (7-3) in Class 5A-Division II area playoff game.

Floresville (Texas) High
Floresville is not participating in the playoffs after finishing the season with a 2-8 record.

Oklahoma City (Okla.) Heritage Hall
Heritage Hall needed a goal-line stand in the final two minutes to capture a 21-18 victory over Bethany on Saturday night in a second-round game of the Class 2A playoffs. The Chargers improved to 8-4 and advance to the quarterfinals against Spiro, 11-1. Next: Friday, Nov. 24, vs. Spiro (Class 2A quarterfinals).

Seguin (Texas) High
Seguin saw its season come to an abrupt end with a 34-27 loss to San Antonio Reagan in the bi-district round of the Class 5A-Division I playoffs Saturday at the Alamodome in San Antonio. The Matadors finish 9-2.

Killeen (Texas) High
Rush and his Killeen teammates saw their season end with a 5-5 record, and a coin toss kept them out of the Class 4A playoffs.
