Recruiting: Scott Puts OSU On His List

U.S. Army All-American selection safety Christian Scott of Dallas (Skyline), Texas, said Oklahoma State and Oklahoma are probably at the top of his list right now following his official visit to Stillwater for Saturday's Bedlam game.

"It went pretty good," said Scott of the visit that ended Sunday morning. "I thought the game was good, and Oklahoma State fought all the way to the end. The school is really good and the fans are behind them all the way. It's a nice campus and I liked it a lot."

Scott has been considered a heavy favorite to sign with Oklahoma, but he has been talking to his friend Dallas (Lincoln) linebacker and OSU commitment Richetti Jones. Jones was also in Stillwater on an unofficial trip with his family for the game and wore an Oklahoma State game jersey with Richetti Jones on the back and his number 99. Jones said he is solid and has vowed to work on recruiting other prospects, like Scott, to join him as a Cowboy.

Scott still has visits to LSU (sometime in December), Texas A&M (not sure when), and possibly Florida State or Arkansas.

"Yes, OSU is in the mix," said the 6-1, 180-pound safety that also played some running back and wide receiver this season. "I have not really made a list of favorites, but I would say OU and OSU are at the top because I have seen them both on visits."

Scott visited OU for the game with Colorado on Oct. 21. Scott added that he likely won't make any kind of commitment until January.

"I haven't thought about when I will commit, but it will be awhile from now."
