Recruiting: Hog Commit Harris To Visit OSU

Safety prospect Bret Harris of Irving (MacArthur), Texas, is a man of few words. He is also very much a "yes sir," and "no sir" kind of young man. Harris, who is 6-0, 195 pounds and runs a 4.4 in the 40, narrowed his list of schools down to Arkansas and Oklahoma State back in October. He then visited Arkansas for a home game with Tennessee and then made a verbal commitment to Arkansas.

"Yes sir," said Harris when asked if he is committed to the Razorbacks. "I made a commitment on the weekend when I visited and Arkansas played Tennessee. It was a great environment and I really liked what I saw at Arkansas."

When asked if he was through taking visits he responded, "No sir," said Harris. "I am visiting Oklahoma State this weekend (Dec. 1-3). I need to see Oklahoma State because that was my other school I was considering, and I want to see it and see how it compares."

Harris did not know his final stats from this season, but he has gained the reputation of being a big hitter at safety for the MacArthur Cardinals.

It will be interesting to see if a visit to Stillwater and the OSU campus can change his mind.
