"Yes, I am going to Florida next weekend," confirmed Cooper. "It is down to Florida, Oklahoma State and Miami. I've already visited Miami and Oklahoma State. It helped Miami with them hiring Coach Shannon (Randy Shannon). I will probably make my decision right before or right after Christmas."
Cooper is a five-star rated prospect that had more than 2,000 yards as a senior at Melrose High School in Tennessee a year ago and this past season rushed for 1,247 yards and 15 touchdowns in eight games playing for Milford Prep.
Cooper appears to be the top running back prospect for Oklahoma State in this recruiting class after they lost a recruiting battle for him a year ago to Miami. Cooper just missed qualifying academically and wherever he lands this signing day he will enter as a freshman in classification but with an added year of maturity.
