Pair Of Cowboys Heading to Harding?

It appears that junior running back Calvin Roberts and walk-on redshirt freshman wide receiver Zac Ross are leaving the Oklahoma State football squad. It is believed that both players have the blessing of head coach Mike Gundy.

Roberts, a 6-0, 215-pound former quarterback at Memorial High School in Port Arthur, Texas, and Ross, a 5-8, 185-pound speedster out of Muskogee, Okla., will be put on scholarship and added to the roster at Harding University in Searcy, Ark.

Roberts has been a backup running back throughout most of his Cowboy career and leaves with career numbers of 16 carries for 100 yards and a touchdown. This season he had five carries for 15 yards and four tackles on special teams.

Ross redshirted his freshman season at OSU and was a key contributor on scout team before playing this season primarily on special teams where he almost blocked a punt against Oklahoma.

Harding is an NCAA Division II school.
