Recruiting: Youman Will Reschedule OSU Visit

St. Martinsville, La., tight end Wilson Youman said he will reschedule his official visit to Oklahoma State one of the next two weekends. The 6-5, 245-pounder said he was halfway there when he found out that the weather had taken the weekend in Stillwater.

"I had flown into Houston and was waiting to get on the plane to Oklahoma City when Coach (Doug) Meacham called me and said he had some bad news," described Youman. "He told me the weather was really bad and they were going to have to cancel the weekend and he had to buy me a ticket to go back home.

I'm going to try to move my visit this weekend to ULL (Louisiana-Lafayette) back and go to OSU this weekend (1/19), but if I can't then I will go to ULL and then go to OSU the next weekend (1/26). I understood and there's nothing you can do about the weather. It doesn't happen often."

Youman has already visited Southern Miss and Louisiana Tech. Both visits went well, but he filled us in on the most recent visit which was Louisiana Tech on Jan. 8.

"It was pretty good," said Youman. "Coach Dooley was just getting there when he first started recruiting me and he told me has all kinds of plans for the future at Louisiana Tech."

Youman is also considering Houston, so he still has a lot to sort through before making a decision.
