Recruiting: Clark Has Some Thinking To Do

Arlington (Seguin), Texas, safety prospect Jonathan Clark made a commitment early to Arizona State, but since then the Sun Devils fired coach Dirk Koetter and made a switch to Dennis Erickson. Now after making an official visit to Oklahoma State this weekend Clark says he has to decide what he is going to do.

"It was nice. Real nice," said the 6-0, 190-pound Clark of Oklahoma State. "T.J. Bell was my host and the people were real cool. It is a nice college town that has some good things going for it."

Clark, like many prospects, was impressed with what is going on with the new facilities.

"The school is cool and the facilities they have right now are nice, but the facilities they are building are really going to be nice," he added.

Clark said he needs time to narrow it down. He said it is either going to be Arizona State or Oklahoma State. Those are his two choices.

"I've got to weigh the pros and cons and it will be a hard decision," said the member of what may be an all-Division I secondary this past season at Arlington Seguin. "Call me on Super Bowl Sunday because I really want to have my mind made up by that Monday (Feb. 5)."
