Recruiting: Cowboys Lead For Tight End

It took an extra week because of Mother Nature but once tight end Wilson Youman of St. Martinsville, La., had the chance to make his official visit to Oklahoma State he said he liked what he saw and what he ate.

"I enjoyed it and it was real fun," said the 6-5, 245-pound Youman. "My host was Ugo Chinasa (freshman defensive end). He's a cool dude and I enjoyed being around him and around all of the players and the coaches. I liked the facilities and everything about it, the whole nine yards."

Asked where the visit leaves him now, Youman responded, "Starting to think about making my decision."

He did say that he plans to make the visit that he rescheduled this weekend to go to Oklahoma State and that is a trip next weekend to ULL (Louisiana-Lafayette). He said he thought he would know what he is going to do after he gets back from that visit next Sunday.

"It's hard for me not to like Oklahoma State," said Youman. "One thing that was different from my other visits is that on those they took you around and showed you places around town to eat, but at Oklahoma State they have their own chefs and all the food that I ate was the food I will eat if I go there. It was good, good home cooking."

Youman said he really liked the coaches and could tell that the tight end gets the chance to make a lot of plays in the offense and that was another plus for the Cowboys.

Youman has previously visited Southern Miss and Louisiana Tech, and has the visit to Louisiana-Lafayette coming up next weekend.
