Recruiting: Pokes Add Another To 2007 Class?

Wide receiver Cornelius Robertson of Houston (Wheatley), Texas made an official visit this weekend to Oklahoma State and, according to Robertson, you can add him to the Class of 2007 signees at Oklahoma State.

"They (OSU coaches) are going to send the paperwork this week," said Robertson. "As soon as I get it I will sign it and return it."

The 6-5, 200-pound wide receiver has 4.52 speed and can really jump as he told me he has a 4- inch vertical jump. He is currently averaging 26 points a game for the Wheatley basketball squad. Robertson said the visit this weekend was everything he had wanted it to be.

"Everything," said Robertson. "I liked everything from the players to the coaches and how they treated me, to the city. It was all good to me."

Robertson is a two-time All District 4A-19 selection. Last season he had 35 receptions for 710 yards and 10 touchdowns. As a junior he had 32 catches for 675 yards and eight touchdowns.

Robertson said he has a 3.0 GPA, but he has not taken an ACT or SAT test. Obviously, without the test score he has not qualified as of yet. By midweek he should become Oklahoma State's 24th signee in the class and the fifth wide receiver in the class.
