"I didn't run that much because I'm nursing a little injury," said Staley, "but we've got important meets coming up in late April. As far as recruiting I'm still trying to sort it out, which schools have offered and which ones I want to look at closer. I did go up to an Oklahoma State practice about two weeks ago."
Staley doesn't sound like a prospect that will end up making an early commitment when we asked whether the NCAA should offer an early signing day for football, he didn't think it would apply to him.
Oklahoma State is recruiting Staley as a running back, but the 6-0, 200-pounder with 4.5 speed in the 40-yard dash is being recruited by other schools as a defensive back, linebacker, wide receiver, and by some as a quarterback.
