Recruiting: Coleman Still Receiving Calls

Defensive end Jeremy Coleman of Missouri City (Marshall), Texas, says he is still solid on his commitment but that hasn't kept schools from calling. "I am solid on my commitment to TCU, but I am still getting calls," said Coleman. "Oklahoma State, Baylor, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Texas A&M have still called. I am going to TCU camp this summer, but I have to see if I'm going to any other camps."

Coleman is a 6-2, 242-pound powerful defensive end. He said he is ready for the summer to get here, and just finished up spring football at Marshall last week.

"We finished it up with our spring game last Thursday," he said. "We (his team) got beat but it was a defensive game. There was only one score and we got beat 7-0. I played good but it was disappointing in that we couldn't sack the quarterback -- just tag 'em."

Coleman said he is fine with the continued phone calls and isn't tired of it yet even though he made the early pledge to the Horned Frogs. The guess here is he will continue being recruited through the summer (text messages can continue through Aug. 1) unless he tells coaches to stop. Coleman is a friendly kid, and the gut feeling is he likes talking to the different coaches for now.
