Future Cowboys In Week Four

Each week throughout the season GoPokes.com will track the progress of the 18 high school football players who have verbally committed to sign with Oklahoma State next February. Here are the results for each of the players' teams from the fourth week of the high school season.

Wichita Falls (Texas) High Coyotes
Anderson took the kickoff 73 yards for a touchdown after Burkburnett tied the game 7-7 in the first half, and the Bulldogs never kicked to him again, as the Coyotes went on to a 21-17 victory on Friday night. It was Anderson's second kickoff return for a touchdown in just three games.

TIM BENFORD, DE (6-5, 230)
Jersey Village (Texas) High Falcons
Jersey Village, 0-3, did not play this week. The Falcons return to the field Friday.

Westfield (Houston, Texas) High Mustangs
Westfield saw its record fall to 2-2 on the season with a 10-9 loss to Westfield on Friday.

DAJUAN DAVIS, OT (6-4, 295)
Crowley (Texas) High Eagles
Davis and the Crowley offensive line did the job Friday night as the Eagles rushed for 274 yards – and never punted all game – en route to a 44-9 victory over Denton. The win was the first of the season in three tries for the Eagles.

ALFRED DUPREE, LB (6-2, 210)
Skyline (Dallas, Texas) High Raiders
Skyline suffered its first loss of the season Friday night in a 17-7 defeat to Arlington Bowie.

La Marque (Texas) High Cougars
In a game in which no touchdowns were scored, La Marque's two field goals proved to be better than Pearland's one as the Cougars won 6-3 Friday night to improve to 4-0.

JEREMY GRAY, DE (6-6, 235)
Sherman (Texas) High Bearcats
The Bearcats fell behind 42-0 following a disastrous first half (which included five turnovers), but battled back before losing 48-37 to Sulphur Springs on Friday night. Sherman is now 2-2.

JACKIE HINTON, WR (5-11, 185)
Channelview (Texas) High Falcons
Hinton rushed for 47 yards, including a 2-yard touchdown, and caught a pass for five yards but it wasn't enough as Houston Ball defeated Channelview 42-12 on Friday night.

PATRICK HOOG, OG (6-4, 295)
Medina Valley (Texas) High Panthers
Medina Valley outgained La Vernia but it wasn't good enough as La Vernia won 10-8 to remain undefeated. Medina Valley falls to 1-3.

Henderson (Texas) High Lions
Henderson, 2-1, had a bye week but returns to action Friday night.

Richland (North Richland Hills, Texas) High Rebels
Richland, 2-1, did not play this week but returns to the field Friday night.

Marlin (Texas) High Bulldogs
Marlin, 1-2, had a bye week and will be back on the field Friday night.

Mesquite (Texas) High Skeeters
Richards was outstanding Friday night as Mesquite won for the first time this season. The future Cowboy caught five passes for 150 yards, including touchdown receptions of 48 and 54 yards, as the Skeeters won 42-6. The TD catches were the first of the season for Richards.

Summit (Arlington, Texas) High Jaguars
Summit, 2-1, took a week off before returning to action this Friday.

Stephenville (Texas) High Yellow Jackets
Stephenville, 3-0, had a bye week, and returns to action Friday night.

Guthrie (Okla.) High Blue Jays
Staley and the Blue Jays improved to 4-0 with a 68-0 rout of Harrah on Friday night.

LANE TAYLOR, OG (6-2, 295)
Arlington Martin (Texas) High Colts
Arlington Martin's high-powered offense continued putting points on the scoreboard (115 in three games) as the Colts improved to 3-0 with a 40-21 victory over L.D. Bell on Friday night.

South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, Texas) High Warriors
