Reid Was 'Inactive' From K-State Game

STILLWATER - Mike Gundy revealed that backup quarterback Bobby Reid was inactive for the 41-39 win over Kansas State, the Cowboy head coach said following the game. Reid did suit up but would not have played if the situation was called for Saturday night. Reid had unexcused absences from practice on Wednesday and Thursday before coming back and meeting with Gundy on Friday to rejoini the team.

"Bobby missed a couple of days of practice and he was suspended for the game tonight," Gundy said after the win.

"He's been having a tough time and I think we can all understand it. He came back Friday and that would have been the last day he could have come back. I told him he was suspended for tonight but after that would be back on the team," Gundy continued.

"Bobby is a good kid and a very important member of this team, but you have to take into account all that has happened and that he is still a young man."

Reid did not meet with the media after the game. But on the sidelines during the game he was very much into the contest and was seen continuing to support his teammates including starting quarterback Zac Robinson.
