Recruiting: Gray Is Pretty Heavy On OSU

Cornerback Maurice Gray of Butler County (Kans.) Community College called just after he got back from his visit to Oklahoma State this past weekend. When asked about the recruiting weekend and the reports that he committed, find out right here what he had to say.

"I'm pretty heavy on them, but I am going to take one more visit this next weekend to Iowa State," said the 5-10, 180-pound cornerback. "It was a great visit, a wonderful visit. The players were the best thing, how they are like family and so together.

"My host was Ricky Price and he is a good guy. We hung out and had a good time. I got to see the new end zone and we toured that and it was cool. I just need to see one more school and talk to my family, but I am pretty heavy on Oklahoma State," Gray continued.

Gray had more than 50 tackles this season and 4 interceptions in helping Butler County to the junior college national championship with a 56-27 victory over Snow J.C. last weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Gray called fellow Butler County player Beau Johnson his partner and said that Johnson had a great visit and that he was back as well. He said the drive back to Butler wasn't bad, but the weather back in Kansas is cold and snowing.

"It's colder than it was in Oklahoma, but the weather didn't matter. It's a great place," said Gray.
