Recruiting: Davis Ready To Sign In February

Offensive lineman Dajuan Davis of Crowley, Texas is a big guy at 6-4, 295 pounds and he will draw plenty of attention when he gets on the Oklahoma State campus. He will also draw plenty of attention in that a small number of football student-athletes make their way over to the Engineering buildings. Davis said he plans on majoring in some form of engineering.

Davis certainly engineered a successful high school career as he was named All-State in Class 4A in Texas by the Associated Press. He was also first-team all-district as both a junior and a senior.
Davis made a commitment to Oklahoma State this past fall and said nothing has changed following his official visit this weekend to Stillwater.

"It went well," said Davis of the visit. "Coach (Curtis) Luper and Russell (Okung) showed me around. It was what I expected. The food was good and the basketball games were fun."

Davis is a man of few words, but you get the feeling that is by design. After all, he is planning to major in engineering. Davis said he is keeping busy physically with powerlifting and he is set to sign coming up in February.
