Recruiting: Mosley Looks Forward To OSU Visit

Standout Tennessee native Jamal Mosley returned our call on Sunday evening after he arrived home from his official visit to North Carolina. The 6-4, 230-pound Kingsbury High School product in Memphis had 24 receptions for 479 yards andseven touchdowns this past season. It is coming down to crunch time in recruiting and Mosley had some news.

"I'm really not interested in North Carolina," said Mosley. "I went out there to check it out and they have a coaching staff with some coaches that were in the NFL. It was a good visit, but I'm really looking at Oklahoma State, Kentucky, Ole Miss and Southern Miss."

Mosley will make that official visit next weekend to Oklahoma State.

"I'm excited about that because Brandon Pettigrew is going to be my host and I'm really looking forward to meeting him," said Mosley. "They really use the tight end and I like what I have seen of their offense. I liked Kentucky and had a great visit out there. I really liked the players and the coaches and I think they also use the tight end a lot in their offense. I am going to visit Southern Miss on February 1."

Mosley actually tried to change out his visit this weekend from North Carolina to Stillwater, but couldn't get it done at the late time. Mosley said he will be more than happy to talk with us again next week after he finishes up his visit at Oklahoma State. So far there is no doubt from the tone in his voice the two schools he is most excited about are Oklahoma State and Kentucky.
