10 Questions with Alfred DuPree

GoPokes.com recently caught up with several of the Oklahoma State recruits to ask "10 Questions" designed to allow Cowboy fans an opportunity to get to know the players who will be signing on National Signing Day. Here are the answers provided by defensive end Alfred DuPree IV of Dallas (Skyline), Texas.

1) What about Oklahoma State first caught your eye?
DuPree: It would probably be after talking with (current Cowboy basketball player) Byron Eaton.

2) What was your deciding factor in committing to the Cowboys?
DuPree: Location. I didn't really want to go to school too far (from home), but I also wanted to go somewhere where I could compete and get a chance to play right away.

3) What are three words that describe you as a person?
DuPree: Friendly. Nice. People person.

4) What are three words that describe you as a football player?
DuPree: Hungry. Want to learn the game. Potential.

5) What is your favorite thing to do on the field?
DuPree: Hit the quarterback.

6) What is your favorite thing to do off the field?
DuPree: Shopping.

7) If you don't go to the NFL, what profession would you like to enter?
DuPree: I'd want to find a job working in the corporate world with a computer, where there's no running or exercise.

8) What are you most looking forward to in terms of playing at OSU?
DuPree: The chance to beat OU and UT.

9) What do you feel will be your biggest challenge in moving from high school to college?
DuPree: In college everybody can play. In college I know that everyone on the field is going to be good, and I know the competition is going to be a lot better.

10) Who is the one player on Oklahoma State's roster or in your recruiting class that you are most looking forward to being teammates?
DuPree: Patrick Lavine.
