Recruiting: Morales Shines In Spring Finale

Linebacker Anthony Morales of Edmond (Memorial), Okla., went to Texas and impressed folks at the Scout Combine as he was one of the better linebackers in drills and fundamentals. Friday for a small crowd on the Edmond campus he again showed how he can put it all together on the field in the Edmond spring football finale.

The 5-11, 205-pound Morales was flying around making plays as he had countless tackles. His sideline to sideline pursuit skills are a his strength. He also came flying through to pick off a pass thrown in the flat.

There is no doubt that Morales, who was seen in Stillwater several times during Oklahoma State's spring practice, can play at the next level. The question mark with schools will be his height. He has good strength with a 350-pound bench press and an equally as impressive squat.

Morales has drawn attention from the likes of Oklahoma State, Kansas State and Vanderbilt.

We'll have more on Morales soon.
