OSU's Andrew Oliver Declared Ineligible

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State sophomore pitcher Andrew Oliver has been declared ineligible for an indefinite period by the school, according to a release from the OSU Media Relations Office on Saturday afternoon.

The announcement came just hours before the fifth-ranked Cowboys, 43-16, were scheduled to play Wichita State, 45-15, in a winner's bracket game of the Stillwater Regional.

Oliver, a first-team All-Big 12 Conference selection who was 7-2 with a 2.20 ERA in 15 appearances this season, would probably have started against the Shockers in tonight's game, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.

The OSU release said the school would have no further comment on Oliver's status.
