OSU, Missouri State To Kick Off at 12:05 p.m.

Kickoff for Oklahoma State's football game against Missouri State on Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium has been moved to 12:05 p.m., instead of the originally scheduled 6:05 p.m. The change is being made because of weekend weather forecasts, OSU officials said in a news release Thursday.

The release from the OSU media relations office said that Oklahoma State officials have been in contact with the National Weather Service and projections place the state of Oklahoma in the path of two weather systems.

The OSU release states that information currently available indicates deteriorating weather conditions on Saturday, especially during the evening hours. The move in the kickoff time will hopefully provide fans with safer trips to and from Stillwater.

Oklahoma State will release information later Thursday regarding possible changes in pregame activities. The school also is in touch with Fox College Sports regarding whether the change in kickoff time will have any effect on the network's planned television change.
