Predictions: OSU-Missouri State & the Big 12

This is a mismatch. Oklahoma State can name the final score provided they stay focused and play with the enthusiasm and effort expected from head coach Mike Gundy and his coaching staff. Provided the game goes as expected and Missouri State doesn't come back and play as well in Stillwater as it did play poorly in Springfield in the opening loss to Washburn, then this verdict will be in early.

Oklahoma State really needs to get that done because this needs to serve as a player development game to improve depth and experience in many of the Cowboys backups.

The more players that can get major playing time -- like the backup quarterbacks in Alex Cate and Brandon Weeden, running back Beau Johnson, a lot of the wide receivers, the second offensive line, defensive tackle Shane Jarka, defensive tackle Chris Donaldson, defensive end Richetti Jones, star Deron Fontenot, linebacker Donald Booker, linebacker Jared Glover, and young defensive backs Markelle Martin and Johnny Thomas -- the better for the Cowboys.

Get all those players some experience, win the game, and the day will be a big success.

Oklahoma State 59, Missouri State 0
