"I'll be there for the Iowa State game," said DeDe Lattimore, who said his team and himself are playing well right now. "The schedule worked out perfect for that visit and I can't wait to make the trip.
"We are 4-2 and the season is going good. I think I'm playing good. I have to be patient and I am learning playing in a new system. We are in a 3-5 and I'm still playing middle (linebacker) and I'm needing to sit back on things. It is really just learning to be more patient and let plays come to me."
Lattimore and his Cedar Shoals teammates play Rockdale County High School this week. Lattimore said he has not set up any other visits but is really eyeballing two other Division I schools right now.
"Louisville and Kentucky," were the two schools he mentioned. "Kentucky has that game with South Carolina and I am going to watch Oklahoma State against Missouri."
Asked if he had made any other games this fall, Lattimore said he'd been to see the (Atlanta) Falcons. We agreed that the Falcons have improved but they aren't a recruiting option right now for him, maybe in about four or five years though.
