Recruiting: Louisiana DT Still Looking At OSU

Defensive lineman DeQuinta Jones of Bastrop, La., is getting ready for the playoffs and trying to fight off the residual left over from Halloween. Jones celebrated Halloween by helping to destroy an opponent 44-6. Jones and company came out during the third quarter and Jones had already racked up eight tackles.

The 6-2, 265-pound Jones was mesmerized by the Cowboys work ethic earlier on Saturday.

"Nothing has changed," said Jones, who committed this summer to new coach Rich Rodriguez and Michigan. "You never know what is going to happen."

He will be back after the season to take an official visit at OSU. Jones was at an OSU three-day camp this summer.

"I am also keeping my eyes on Oklahoma State, Alabama, Oklahoma, or California," said Jones. "All three are improved on defense. I think that gives them a chance to be in the BCS."

Jones and his teammates, which includes All-American wide receiver Rueben Randle who also says he is interested in Oklahoma State, will take on Carencro to finish the regular season. Bastrop is a favorite in the Louisiana state playoffs.
