Recruiting: Five To Make Visits This Weekend

This will be a busy weekend at Oklahoma State with the Class 6A state championship game to be played in Boone Pickens Stadium on Friday night between Jenks and Union. On Sunday it is bowl selection Sunday and the Cowboys will also hold their annual senior football banquet. Mike Gundy and his staff are also using this weekend and the next weekend for official recruiting visits.

We have five prospects slated to make visits this weekend, including three players that have already committed to the Cowboys.

Below are the players we have scheduled to visit with a brief sketch:

Aubrey Phillips, 6-4, 340, NA, Olive Branch, Miss.: OSU 12/5, Arkansas (1/9), Tennessee (1/15), Mississippi (1/22), LSU.
A big offensive lineman that is very athletic and can move for his size. He has attracted a lot of attention.

Anthony Rogers, DT, 6-4, 235, 4.9, North Little Rock, Ark.: Verbally committed to Oklahoma State (12/5) after de-committing from Mississippi State.
Just changed his commitment this week after the coaching change at Mississippi State and he represents a huge addition for Oklahoma State as he has tremendous potential and is very athletic.

Colton Richardson, LB/Ath., 6-3, 205, 4.55, Ada, Okla.: Verbally committed to OSU (12/5).
Underrated player in Oklahoma that proved on both offense (wide receiver) and defense (linebacker) to be a force. He attracted a lot of attention into the season.

Andrew Green, CB, 6-1, 180, 4.5, San Antonio (Madison), Texas: OSU (12/5), Nebraska (9/5), Purdue, Baylor, Kansas, Missouri.
Cornerback prospect that can really cover and has lots of skills including returning punts and kicks.

Andrae May, CB, 6-1, 170, 4.5, Galena Park (North Shore), Texas: Verbally committed to OSU (12/5).
Pledged to the Cowboys in the summer and proceeded to have a strong season. A cornerback with excellent size.
