Recruiting: Tracy Moore To Decide Jan. 25

Tracy Moore, the standout athlete/receiver from Tulsa (Union), Okla., told me Sunday night he was not making an announcement on television regarding his recruiting commitment tonight.

"No, I canceled that," said Moore, who is 6-4 and 220 pounds. "I am going to make a decision on Jan. 25. I am going to visit Oklahoma State on Jan. 16 and that will probably be my last visit. I am not going to Kansas this coming weekend. I canceled that."

Moore made a visit to Colorado in December the week after he and his Redskins teammates won the Class 6A state championship over rival Jenks. Moore caught a long pass in that game to set up a touchdown and then came back at the end and filled in for his friend Jeremy Smith at running back and helped Union run out the clock.

This season Moore caught 71 passes for 1,023 yards and 15 touchdowns. In the regular season meeting with Jenks in the "Backyard Bowl" he caught 11 passes for 150 yards in a Union overtime win. He also rushed for a number of yards and even threw a touchdown pass this season.

Moore has been recruited by Kansas, Missouri and Tulsa in addition to Oklahoma State and Colorado.
