Recruiting: Rogers 100 Percent With OSU

In interviewing defensive lineman Anthony Rogers of North Little Rock, Ark., for the annual recruiting issue of Go Pokes Magazine, the 6-4 1/2 athletic commitment revealed some interesting things. The most important bit of information he told us was that he is 100 percent committed to Oklahoma State.

"I see myself getting bigger when I get to college," said Rogers, who in agreeing with his high school coach that his frame will allow him to really grow in size. He admitted that he is already at 257 pounds, up for 245 this season.

"That weight room is huge and yes, I hear the food is good," Rogers said of Oklahoma State.

Speaking of food, get this answer when Rogers started telling me more about himself. "My favorite food is liver, liver and gravy and mashed potatoes," said Rogers. "Beef liver, I have always liked it and when my mom makes her special biscuits. That's the best, liver, mashed potatoes and gravy and my mom's biscuits."

We asked Rogers about the reports that he might take a visit to Mississippi and he said he would forgo that trip. "I think I am done. I am going to be grateful for what I have with my commitment to Oklahoma State," he said.

Oh and by the way, Rogers favorite dessert, pecan pie.
