Recruiting: Graham Talks About OSU

Again, Webb City, Mo., has produced a lot of good football players over the years and Parker Graham would appear to be another one. Let's start with the fact that Graham is 6-7 1/2, 255 pounds, has size 17 feet, is just 17 years old, and is very athletic as a two-sport standout who is a starter on his basketball team after being a two-way starter in football at both offensive and defensive tackle.

Graham, who made both Coaches Association and Associated Press All-State teams, gave much of the reason for his commitment to Oklahoma State to the coaches. He was recruited to Oklahoma State by offensive line coach and run game coordinator Joe Wickline.

"It is the coaching staff, that is the main reason that I committed to OSU," said Graham on Monday afternoon before his basketball practice.

"I just think that playing at OSU for that coaching staff gives me the best chance for success in the future at the college level. I have a lot of confidence that they will help me improve," Graham continued.

During his visit this weekend Graham was very impressed with the facilities as he was given a tour of the West End Zone facility.

"They are really expanding and it doesn't appear that they are slowing down at all," he said.

Graham siad he is very excited about the opportunity and that he actually called Wickline back Sunday night while driving home from Stillwater.

After telling Go Pokes Magazine and GoPokes.com that he needed time to think about it and talk to his family, he made the decision before he and his mother arrived back in Webb City.
