Recruiting: Hurst Says He's Not Looking

Cornerback and Oklahoma State verbal commitment Demontre Hurst, the All-State cornerback from Lancaster, Texas, said around 10 p.m. Friday that he's not looking at other schools and he is still committed firmly to the Cowboys with the intention of signing a letter of intent Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m.

When asked if he had been talking to Oklahoma and was making a visit to Norman Hurst had this response: "They called me and we were talking, but it is nothing like that (visiting this weekend)," said Hurst.

When asked about rumors earlier this week regarding Tennessee he had a similar response. "I didn't feel like checking into that," he added.

"It is the family atmosphere and the chance to come in and play right away," said Hurst of the reasons he is committed to Oklahoma State. "The new facilities played a big part because they have a lot of things, great stuff to use for the future to make myself a better player."

Hurst said away from football one thing that he is also gifted at is dancing.

There will be more on Hurst and his moves in the recruiting edition of Go Pokes Magazine.
