Check back each and every day leading up to Feb. 4 for more questions and answers with the OSU stars of the future.

1) What about Oklahoma State first caught your eye?
David Paulsen: The facilities. I heard a lot about them and I saw pictures of what it was going to look like and they were better than the other schools I looked at.

2) What was your deciding factor in committing to the Cowboys?
Paulsen: The people I knew, and coach Gundy and his staff. They seem like people that will look out for me better than other places.

3) What are three words that describe you as a person?
Paulsen: Dedicated, hard-working and smart.

4) What are three words that describe you as a football player?
Paulsen: Competitive, hard-nosed and fearless.

5) What is your favorite thing to do on the football field?
Paulsen: Make big hits.

6) What is your favorite thing to do off the field?
Paulsen: Hang out with friends and family and just relax and watch sports.

7) If you don't go on to play in the NFL, what would you like to do?
Paulsen: Something in sports announcing or a sports trainer, and I'd like to coach. Maybe be a part-time coach and team trainer.

8) What are you most looking forward to in terms of playing for Oklahoma State?
Paulsen: The ability to contribute to the team early.

9) What do you feel will be your biggest challenge in moving from high school to college?
Paulsen: Being able to balance sports and academics. Also, being able to take care of myself without my parents and just the speed of the game.

10) Who is the one player on Oklahoma State's roster, or in your recruiting class, that you are most excited to be teammates with next season?
Paulsen: All the running backs, Kendall Hunter, and Jeremy Smith in the future.
