Recruiting: Another Impressive Junior at Camp

No doubt we missed several but one junior camper we missed writing about in our Friday story on Oklahoma State's three-day camp is Abilene, Kan. lineman Cody Whitehair from Abilene, Kan. The 6-4 1/2, 270-pound Whitehair reportedly received a lot of attention from OSU offensive line coach/co-offensive coordinator Joe Wickline.

Reports from the camp indicated that one of the best one-on-one matchups through the camp was between Whitehair and another standout junior line prospect in Baton Rouge (Redemptorist), La. product La'el Collins.

Apparently those two really got after it and it was a very competitive battle. Collins has received recruiting attention from schools in the SEC along with OSU. Whitehair is already a known factor in Kansas and is attending OU camp this week.

Whitehair's uncle is Kip Racy the new general manager of Cowboy Sports Properties and the Cowboy Sports Network, a division of Learfield Sports.
