Recruiting: Zack Craig Gets New Offer

Defensive back Zack Craig of Smithson Valley, Texas, has picked up another offer as he texted us Monday to inform us that Colorado State has offered him a scholarship. Just the other day Craig let us know that Colorado and Texas-San Antonio had joined Baylor in offering.

A standout athlete in track as well, Craig visited Oklahoma State twice this spring and both his parents graduated from OSU. He has shown a strong interest in the Cowboys and has also visited Kansas and Baylor. Kansas State has also been recruiting Craig.

Last season Craig had 83 total tackles, 43 unassisted tackles, 4 interceptions, and really developed a knack of blocking kicks with a blocked punt and 3 blocked field goals. His efforts earned him second team All-District 26-5A honors.

Craig told us he will be back at Oklahoma State for the Cowboys one-day prospect camp June 14. He is hoping to show the Cowboy staff then just what they are looking for in a safety.
