Recruiting: Randle Is As Cool As Can Be

Running back Joseph Randle of Wichita (Southeast), Kan., isn't hyped up about recruiting right now. The 6-0, 188-pound speedster that seems to have all the right moves is chilling on college recruiting and fired up about Southeast's football season, his senior season.

"Fine. Real well, i think our team will do well this year," said Randle. "I do think we will be the best in Wichita. We should because we have the best talent and we are ready to do our thing."

Last season Randle ran for 834 yards and averaged 5.6 yards per carry. He also caught nine passes for 72 yards and threw for 146 yards in spot duty at quarterback. He also had 61 tackles on defense. This season the "jack-of-all-trades" is scheduled to do what he is best at, play running back and carry the football.

He has offers from a bunch of schools including Illinois, Miami (Fla.), and Stanford. He recently listed a primary five schools that included Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Iowa, and Missouri.

"The last month of the summer I was really just chilling," said Randle of recruiting. "Recruiting has been low key for now and my focus is on playing football. I'll be getting around to that and sometime soon it was be time for me to be coming out with a group of schools. I have them now but I'm really kind of keeping that to myself."

Randle is a very intelligent student that is considering engineering and business for a major in college. He said that it will be his parents and his family who will be his major advisers and who he will talk out his decision with.

We asked him when he came out with that list to please keep us in mind and let us know and he said he would.
